I made a purchase for some paving slabs during the covid pandemic. I chose Buildex after calling them up and checking that the item was available. Ultimately, it took months for the slabs to show up.

I reached out via phone and email countless times, and I was assured that the delivery was definitely on its way, only to later find out that they were never actually in stock.

Eventually, they arrived without any issues, but the lack of communication and the many unanswered calls and emails would definitely make me think twice about ordering from them again.

It took almost two months to get both pieces of a garden bench delivered, and when it finally showed up, there was mould on it because it had been kept outside (the packaging was ripped). I had to sand it down and apply some wood treatment to make it look decent again.

I ordered some paint that arrived via a delivery service. The box was all messed up, so we opened it up to discover that the 10L paint container was cracked and leaking all over the place. I called Buildex, and they did refund me, but they don’t have a system for picking up damaged items and didn’t offer any advice on how to get rid of it. They mentioned that this kind of thing happens, but they’ve got no plan to handle it. Now I’m stuck with a leaking paint tub and no way to dispose of it. Not pleased at all, and I won’t be using them again.
